The Elections Board convened for their first meeting today to create and adopt the Fall 2010 Elections Schedule. As per the USG Code, this schedule must be posted on the USG website for 48 hours to allow Senators and the undergraduate student body to review the schedule and make comments. If we recieve any comments, the Elections Board will meet again next week to discuss the comments and vote to make revisions. If any changes are made, the new schedule will be posted for an extra 24 hours for review.
Students who are interested in running for any position should sign up for our new Candidate Mailing List to receive updates from the Elections Board.

The Elections Board also has a new office location outside of the USG suite to ensure that they remain separate and independent from the USG. They can now be found across the hall in SAC 228B. The new Elections Board Chair intends to hold office hours periodically throughout the process.
