Dear Executive Vice President John Kriscenski,

This week has been quite uneventful, especially since exams and a lack of a parliamentarian has prevented me from attending the past two senate meetings. For the Legislative Review meetings, the committee chair senator Dimitriyati has undergone the assessments of many amendments and revisions to the constitution in addition to much legislation that has come before the senate. Furthermore, the PHEEIA survey from the ad-hoc committee seemed to have gone well. Thank you.

Dear Executive Vice President John Kriscenski,

This week has been quite eventful, especially in the senate meetings. For the Legislative Review meetings, the committee chair senator Dimitriyati has undergone the assessments of many amendments and revisions to the constitution in addition to many legilations that have come before the senate. Furthermore, several amendments have been updated. Additionally, I would like to express my disappointment in the senate meetings, especially concerning the fact that I deem it sad that we must frequently call to question in order to settle on an issue. Many senators seem to like hearing themselves speak as opposing to listening more, an all-too-common problem here. Thank you.

Unfortunately, not much can be said about this month due to the fact that the semester just started. For the Legislative Review meetings, a committee chair has been elected and a meeting time has been established. Furthermore, several amendments have been updated. Additionally, I would like to express my enthusiasm for the USG mixer next week. It should be quite eventful. Thank you.

Dear Executive Vice President John Kriscenski,

Unfortunately, not much can be said about this month due to the fact that I had many exams and had to miss certain meetings for Legislative Review and there was a nice break as well for Thanksgiving. At the meetings I have been to, the Legislative Review Committee has reviewed over an extensive amount of legislation, ranging from amendments to certain amendments, appropriations acts, and more. One thing that I was saddened to see did not pass was the appropriations act for a USG polo shirt, which I thought would further consolidate the pride we members of USG possess for our organization. I hope one day it will pass soon because I would actually like to wear the shirt.

Dear Executive Vice President John Kriscenski,

The Legislative Review Committee has established a meeting time to discuss any legislative logistics; the meeting is set for Wednesdays at 5:20 pm. We have elected a vice chairman (Kieth Tilley) and the chairman (Moiz Khan). In fact, in just about a few minutes we have to meet in order to discuss another piece of legislation. I have also sat in a few Budget hearings and have noticed that what Senator Cushner stated about the sub-committee obligation, that it is quite pointless, is a valid interpretation of the truth. When attempting to ask a question or become better acquainted with the process, such explorations were indeed rejected and all I did there was watch and listen. I did not say or do anything: it was boring if anything. I would also like to mention that we have some great people working in USG, some of which I helped donate blood at the Hospital Blood Bank.

The past several weeks have been quite uneventful on my part to discuss. The Legislative Review Committee is set to meet this week or latest next week, a process that has proven quite difficult due to many schedule and time conflicts. I have spoken with some clubs in order to start getting them to begin some recreational, enjoyable activities for the weekend due to the fact that the weekend can be quite dull on many occasions. As regards to the weekly senate meeting, the one thing I have been noticing during the senate meetings, however, is that the many senators are still (just as last year) repeating established facts and thus prolonging and meeting, making it longer and more aggravating than it really should be. I feel the meetings can be executed efficiently and in a timely manner if there was, as the cliché goes, less talking and more listening.
