My first month as Senator has been an interesting start to the new school year. As a new freshman Senator it was great to meet the different minds at work in the USG Senate and it brought me great expectations in the coming months of what would be perhaps interesting Senate year. To date, I have attended all of my office hours and attended every senate meeting regularly thus far. The Rules/Elections/Referendum Standards committee met for the first time on September 24th and we elected our Chair and Co-Chair. The Academic Affairs Committee has yet to meet. I have also recently encouraged those interested in serving on the Senate to attend informational sessions so that the remaining Senators-to-be can be elected and the Senate can run at full capacity. Again, I look forward to the coming months and what they entail for us all.
